November 9, 2008
PROPOSAL
On
November 5, 2008 three residents at Shell Point formed a steering committee to
develop a plan for teaching other Shell Point residents some of the new
technical widgets and gadgets that have come on the market in the last several
years. It is proposed that these courses/lectures/ workshops be presented under
the umbrella of a new group titled School of Technology (SOFT) at Shell Point.
A steering committee has been formed for guiding SOFT that includes Bruce
Finley, Ed Mitchell, and Richard Nelson. On an interim basis Richard Nelson was
appointed as the leader of this steering committee.
